Susan Miller was going through a messy separation from her husband Nigel and was spending her evenings drowning her sorrows playing online bingo.

Although the bingo games were keeping her busy and occupying the lonely evenings, her friends were worried that she was spending too much time by herself and talking to her cyber friends was not the same. So they bustled her down to their local bingo hall for a night out doing their favourite things.

It was while playing bingo that Susan met the new bingo caller, Robert Jenkins, who was 5 years younger than her. They got chatting after the bingo game was over and he asked her out for a drink.

That was 6 months ago. They are now living together, Susan’s divorce is finalised and her friends are expecting an announcement any day now! It’s all thanks to a few bingo balls and her loyal friends taking her out for a night on the town that lead to Susan’s new found happiness. “I have found my soul mate in Robert and its all thanks to Bingo!”

It was reported that bingo halls were having to lay off staff and close their doors to the public as they struggled to make ends meet. Now the tide seems to be turning for the better and signs are being displayed outside halls saying “full” and they are bursting at the seams with anxious bingo players.

It seems as though the negative effect that the smoking ban had on bingo when it was first introduced has calmed down as people are either patched up or have given up! This is great news as one of Britain’s best loved past times has been rejuvenated and we can all get back and enjoy the hustle bustle of a thriving bingo hall.

Not only that but the jobs of hundreds of dedicated workers will be saved as there is no longer a threat to most of these halls being shut down. With record numbers of attendees flocking to the bingo halls such as Gala and Mecca all over the United Kingdom bingo is certainly booming and that can only be described as a good thing!

Maisie Dixon from Staffordshire was playing her favourite game of online bingo on Monday night and she had left some chips cooking in her deep fat fryer. “I was chatting away to all my online friends” said Maisie “that I forgot all about my tea. If it wasn’t for Albert it would have been so much worse. “

Albert, sensing danger barked until Maisie got up from her game of bingo and went to see what all the fuss was about. “I was greeted with quite a shocking picture when I entered the kitchen, luckily I was quick enough to put the fire out and there was no need to call the fire brigade”.

After all the drama had calmed down, Maisie ran back to her computer to tell her friends about the incident only to find out she had won the jackpot – “I saw that I had won the bingo game and had £22.87 in my account. I am going to spend it on a bone for Albert and a new smoke alarm!”

All you have to is log in, and you’ll see a new bar at the bottom of your screen - There’s a picture of it for you just below:

Simply click on (chat), and a list of all your friends who are online will be there waiting for you. Then all you need to do is click on the speech bubble icon, and a new window will open telling you your chat request has been sent.

All your friend has to do is accept the chat request, and you’re away.

Another new addition, is the ability to now use your Facebook details to register and login to the site.

If you’re a new user, just click the Facebook icon next to the login forms above, click you’ll be instantly registered on the site!
